Responsibilities:
- Provide expert legal advice and guidance on a wide range of TMT issues, including telecommunications, media, technology, intellectual property, data protection, and regulatory compliance
- Draft, review, and negotiate complex contracts, agreements, and licenses pertaining to TMT transactions
- Conduct legal research and analysis to stay updated on industry trends, regulatory developments, and case law affecting the TMT sector
- Advise clients on legal risks and opportunities related to emerging technologies such as AI, block chain, cloud computing, and cybersecurity
- Assist with due diligence processes and regulatory filings for TMT-related mergers, acquisitions, and investments
- Represent clients in dispute resolution matters, including negotiations, mediations, and litigations, if required
Requirements:
- Qualified lawyer with a minimum of 7 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) in Telecoms, Media, and Technology law – Lower amounts of PQE will still be taken into consideration
- Solid understanding of TMT industry regulations, practices, and market dynamics
- Extensive experience in drafting and negotiating TMT-related contracts, agreements, and licenses
- Strong knowledge of intellectual property law, data protection, privacy regulations, and relevant regulatory frameworks
- Excellent academics
