A highly reputable and well-respected legal 500 law firm based in Luton, is seeking an experienced Employment Solicitor to join a dedicated team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a dynamic group of professionals dedicated to delivering top-tier legal services to a diverse client base.
The successful candidate will handle a mix of respondent and claimant work, with a combination of contentious and non-contentious employment law matters.
- Advising both employers and employees on a range of employment law matters
- Handling a caseload of contentious and non-contentious employment law matters, including redundancies, unfair dismissal, discrimination claims, whistleblowing, TUPE, and contractual matters
- Representing clients before Employment Tribunals, including the preparation and conduct of hearings
- Drafting and reviewing employment contracts, policies, and procedures
- Participating in business development activities to enhance the firm’s employment law offering and increase client base
The ideal candidate:
- Qualified Solicitor with a minimum of 5 years post qualification experience (PQE) in Employment Law
- Strong technical skills and comprehensive knowledge of Employment Law
- Proven track record in both contentious and non-contentious employment matters
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and manage a complex and varied workload
