Legal Counsel

Our client is a FTSE250 investment trust with its own independent professional services business and they're looking to recruit into their legal team with the recruitment of Legal Counsel. Candidates are expected to be 1 - 4 years PQE. 
 
Our client has 250 staff based in the UK, Ireland, Channel Islands, the USA and Asia. Responsible, flexible and forward thinking, they always put our client’s needs first. Clients include large corporates, law firms, banks or funds, private equity, SMEs, hedge funds, start-ups and private clients. Therefore this is a very busy role where you'll be working in a team of 3. 
 
Candidates will be expected to do the following duties but not limited too;

- Review commercial contracts and related queries across all business lines of the Group.
- Review and standardise terms of business across the Group.
- Free drafting and drafting from precedents a variety of legal and commercial documents, including agreements, side letters, contracts etc.
- Responsibility for data protection-related queries

Candidates are expected to be 1 - 4 years' PQE and likely come from a Regulatory or TMT background. It isn't a necessity to come from an Inhouse background but it would be advantageous
