Industrial Disease Solicitor

This is a truly outstanding opportunity to join the Ipswich-based Disease team of one of the top ten largest Litigation practices in the world.
 
The disease team is Legal 500-recommended and handles injury litigation, including disease claims such as mesothelioma and asbestos-related illness.
 
Responsibilities:

- Run your own caseload
- Working with international clients facing claims arising from exposure to asbestos, noise, vibration and other disease claims
- Provide strategic and commercial legal advice on personal injury cases
- Contribute to the strategic direction of the team and be proactive in business development

Skills Required:

- 1+ year's PQE experience handling disease claims
- Working knowledge of the Pre Action Protocol for Disease and Illness claims and Practice Direction 49B – Mesothelioma Claims
- Strong technical skills, commercial acumen, and a classification of 2.1 or higher
