Funds Solicitor

A top tier Legal500 international law firm who have an outstanding reputation, hold an opportunity based in Glasgow where their award winning Funds team are seeking a private investments funds solicitor to join the team. 
   
A highly skilled Funds team who act for fund managers on a full range of investment funds work, including - fund structuring, formation and investment work with a focus on key sectors including real estate, energy, infrastructure, debt and buy-out funds, your responsibilities will include (not an exhaustive list);

- Advising on various matters relating to the establishment of, and investing in, private investment funds
- Drafting constitutional documentation of funds including limited partnership agreements, unit trust deeds and shareholder agreements
- Negotiating fund documentation with investors and dealing with side letter requests
- Dealing with offshore law firms and administrators
- Negotiating with fund counsel when acting for investors and ideally when acting for UK pension funds
- Discussing new funds with both start-up and experienced managers
