Professional Indemnity Solicitor

Manchester based defendant law firm are seeking to add an experienced professional indemnity solicitor to specialise in professional indemnity, with a focus on lawyers’ liability. The cases you would be dealing with concern defending claims against a wide variety of professional service providers insurance policy coverage; insurance and reinsurance disputes; and claims relating to construction, property damage, cyber and aviation.

The firm is looking for someone with 5+ PQE and experience of insurance litigation and policy coverage, professional risk claims relating solicitors and barristers is essential, experience of professional risk claims in other areas is highly desirable. Understanding of commercial insurance policies, the insurance market, reporting arrangements, reserving philosophies, and the relationship between brokers, underwriters/insurers and lawyers is essential and candidates without this experience won't be considered this opportunity.
