Court of Protection Solicitor

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Court of Protection Solicitor to join this top-tier Legal 100 firm in Newcastle.
 
Due to consistent growth within their court of protection team, they are looking to recruit a solicitor at either associate, managing associate or director level. This firm is known for its expertise in the healthcare sector, so you will be part of a fast-paced team with a wealth of experience.
 
Your role as a Court of Protection Solicitor will involve advising clients on a range of capacity issues concerning health and welfare on both a privately funded and legal aid basis. You will assist in case-working matters, preparing Court bundles, supervising the team, carrying out legal research and liaising with clients, courts and third parties.
 
Ideally, you will have gained at least 4 years’ PQE within Court of Protection, however an Inquest or any other advocacy background would also be considered. This role will suit you if you are a driven solicitor looking for a new and exciting challenge.
