An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Family Legal Secretary to join a well-established and respected law firm based in Oldham. The firm promote from within the firm wherever possible and support personal career development and growth. They offer a friendly and supportive environment and have an excellent staff retention.
Ideally you will have family law experience however this isn’t essential and is a great step for an experienced legal secretary/legal administrator/assistant to join a thriving department. Other areas of law such as Mental Health Tribunal work is also covered in the team, and this will give you great exposure to assist within this area of law.
You will be working full time Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm however the firm are flexible on hours.
Duties will include:
- Audio typing
- File management
- Preparation of statements/bundles
- Providing secretarial and administrative support to fee earners
- General secretarial administration work.
The role is principally working one to one although some assistance to other fee earners/departments may be required when necessary.
The ideal candidate will be a competent typist, organised and committed to providing excellent client care as well being a confident, proactive team player who is able to provide a high level of support to the department.
