Established over 50 years ago, our client is a growing 7 Partner high street law firm. The firm is based in central Abingdon and is well known in the area for providing quality legal advice to both commercial and private clients throughout the region.
Their CQS Accredited Residential Property department within the firm is thriving, with quality work being generated by the firm and its existing clients.
They are seeking a Manager for their Completions department. Someone who will be responsible for all post completion activities including, but not limited to, SDLT returns and payments, entry/removal of restrictions on title, preparation of AP1/FR1s, and diarising and carrying out official searches.
Your day to date duties will include:
- Managing and developing the completions team
- Handling all aspects of the deal after exchange up to completion
- Land Registry matters
- Liaising with mortgage companies
- Management company liaison
- Knowledge of SDLT submission process
Carrying out registrations for the busy team which include complex applications e.g., first registrations, lease extensions, removal of notices alongside straightforward transfers
Salary is negotiable and dependent on experience paying up to £40,000.
