Technical Conveyancer - Home Working
One of the UK's leading providers of residential conveyancing services to home movers are currently looking to hire a Technical Conveyancer which can be 100% home based.
This firm has a reputation for excellent client service and provides their clients with conveyancing advice that is superior in terms of quality. Through embracing technology, delivering the best-in-class customer service, and combining these elements with highly talented property lawyers and support teams, it has become one of the fastest growing conveyancing businesses in the UK.
As a Technical Conveyancer, you will handle more complex and intricate matters like Lease Extensions, Newbuilds, and Shared Ownership.
By taking on these complicated and time-consuming transactions, the Technical Conveyancer frees up the rest of the team to get through their own caseloads unhindered. The role is unique in that there is no people management element, leaving you free to concentrate on technical legal work, developing and honing your legal expertise.
There’s an uncapped bonus to reward your efforts and a much-reduced caseload, reflecting the complexity of the work undertaken.
Key tasks and responsibilities include:
- Representing clients though the residential property sales and purchase conveyancing transaction
- Ownership of complex files, such as Lease Extensions, Newbuilds and Shared Ownership, Stair Casing, and more
- Raising and replying to enquiries
- Reporting on Titles
- Corresponding with clients, agents, lenders, and providers
- Acting as a mentor and the ‘go-to’ expert on technical matters in your team and the business as a whole
Ideally you will be a Solicitor, CLC or CILEX qualified, although this is not essential.
The successful Technical Conveyancer will have several years’ experience of case handling and demonstrable technical experience relating to Leasehold, New Build, and other complex areas of conveyancing.
