Our client is a well-established regional law firm situated in South Yorkshire which is looking for an experienced Employment Solicitor to join its expanding Legal team in Sheffield.
The ideal candidate will be an Employment Solicitor with at least 5 years’ PQE (full teams will also be considered) but candidates with relevant and good quality experience who otherwise meet the requirements of the role will be considered, to join this friendly, supportive business legal services department. You will benefit from a good quality, varied caseload along with all the necessary support and training to aid your professional development.
The role will require the successful candidate to advise both employers and employees, depending upon the overall workload of the department. Daily duties involve advising and working with clients on the full range of employment law issues, including drafting and reviewing contracts of employment, advising on settlement agreements, reviewing employee handbooks, advising clients by telephone and email and conducting tribunal claims.
As the successful candidate, you will have essential experience advising on settlement agreements and a track record of running cases and building solid client relationships. You will be expected to network in Sheffield and the wider region and assist in developing new business for the firm, including speaking at seminars and training events from time to time.
Salary for this role is DOE but competitive. You will also enjoy 25 days holidays plus Bank Holidays and a range of other benefits.
