My client is a regional Legal 500 firm with a growing national footprint and widely regarded as a leading light in providing high quality legal services to individuals, communities, businesses, charities and organisations. It currently has an opportunity within its Housing Management team for a junior Lawyer, offering the prospect of advising clients such as private registered providers of social housing, local authorities and charities and other organisations, on cutting edge social projects.
Your remit would be to advise on a varied caseload of Housing matters, drafting and reviewing documents and agreements, advising Landlords on compliance matters, rent and service charges and a high degree of client contact through seminars/training sessions and networking events, enabling you to become embedded in the sector and have a genuine impact on the front-line. The firm is noted for its collaborative approach to work and there is a high degree of overlap across the firm so you will also build strong relationships with other teams within the firm.
Pivotal to success in the role will be a strong background in litigation and you must be keen in housing management and property law. This specific experience isn't essential, but it is desirable. The role will also afford you the opportunity to line manage other fee earners which will contribute towards your career progression prospects. The firm puts a high emphasis on the employees sharing a common social purpose and a sense of wanting to make a positive contribution to the businesses and individuals that they provide advice to.
