An exciting new Permanent Head of Risk & Assurance position has arisen within one of the largest Community Gateway Association. They are seeking somebody who can provide a full range of governance and company secretarial services to join their team. You will be reporting to the Director of Governance and Risk and Policy Officer.
This role is remote working.
- Develop and coordinate the risk management framework to support the delivery of strategic objectives and regulatory compliance, engaging with key stakeholders to ensure that risks are identified, assessed, and effectively managed
- Support regulatory and legal compliance by developing and co-ordinating assurance and internal controls framework
- Manage internal audit contracts and ensure completion of actions from audits
- Establish, review and develop the business continuity framework, ensuring that regular tests are undertaken
Skills & Experience:
Formal Risk Management Qualification or equivalent experience is required for this role. Proven sound knowledge in gathering, using, and analysing financial and numerical data would be highly regarded. Strong interpersonal skills are highly desirable.
