Unusual vacancy working for a Legal training provider.
This training provider has approximately 1000 apprentices across the UK working as paralegals and non-qualified legal staff within law firms. These apprentices are often working towards a C.Ilex or CLC qualification, amongst others.
This unusual role is to write, design, build and maintain training plans and activity briefs for the apprentices to achieve their chosen qualifications. You will make sure these programmes are of good quality, delivered efficiently and profitable.
In this role, you will find and curate resources for your trainers to access in order to deliver their training effectively. Create mid-point assessments.
You will also take a lead on liaising with training team managers and the business development team so that employers and apprentices are well supported throughout.
Above all, you will be passionate about helping people achieve.
This role will likely suit candidates who have worked in legal private practice, or perhaps a local authority legal department.
You may or may not have a legal qualification yourself but will ideally be familiar with Legal Executive & CILEX training, perhaps having been through it yourself.
You will have a naturally positive and inspiring personality probably with a learning & development background already.
In this role, you will organise your own diary and have autonomy. You will work from home, within a national team, and be part of a strong support network. There will be the need from time to time to travel to a head Office in Manchester (possibly two or 3 times per year). The previous job holder was Bristol-based.
Excellent salary up to £35k + laptop (+extra screen) & mobile phone.
This is different... and won't suit everyone, but perhaps if you are a legal professional looking to leave fee earning and legal practice but continue to share your legal skills and knowledge gained along the way then get in touch.
You may be an ex-lawyer, or even returning to the legal field after a short break.
