This leading Legal 500 firm is looking for a paralegal or part-qualified legal executive to join its property team in Exeter.
In this role, you will advise on real estate finance security matters for large corporate developers and registered providers of social housing schemes. This is big ticket complex work valued into the £millions. This established team has secured thousands of properties for a large number of capital markets issues (including bonds) across the length and breadth of England and Wales, as well as traditional bank lending.
This work is challenging, and you will be involved in all property aspects of substantial secured financial transactions, specifically dealing with extensive property due diligence, preparing property conditions precedents and drafting the certificate of title.
Your work will be focused on both residential and mixed-development sites, both in relation to acquisition and putting them into charge. You will assist with large scale loan refinancing for RP clients, acting for funders on approval and consents to various legal documents entered into by borrowers.
In this position, you will have much client contact from day one. You will be fully supported by both your immediate team and the wider firm, to include regular and comprehensive training. You will progress and develop your experience.
This is a very busy but friendly and down to earth team environment. You will also use data rooms to liaise with other offices and teams across the firm in other locations.
To apply for this role, you should already be a paralegal or part-qualified legal executive with property law experience from private practice. This might be within residential property, property development or security work. Any experience of working with housing clients would be an advantage.
Excellent salary up to £30k and full and comprehensive benefits package associated with working for a top UK law firm.
