My client, a specialist law firm in Birmingham city centre, has been established for 40+ years and has a clear purpose of improving lives, communities and society. They are now looking to recruit an experienced legal secretary to join their expanding private client/family law team.
As a secretary within the private client department, you will assist fee earners to ensure that all high standards are met and achieved. You will primarily support the matrimonial team, but there will be opportunity to work across the rest of the private client sub-groups, to include family law, childcare, wills and estate planning.
Your key duties will include:
- Audio copy typing
- Liaising with key clients and colleagues
- Diary management
- Preparing and formatting documents
- Meeting tight deadlines
In order to be considered, you must have at least 2 years+ experience working as a legal secretary with a strong understanding of private client or family law. You must also have excellent typing and IT skills, as well as the ability to work to tight deadlines.
