I have recently been instructed on a rare and unique opportunity with a highly reputable legal 500 firm in Walsall. My client is seeking to appoint a Marketing and Business Development Manager to assist the firm in its overall growth and development by looking for opportunities to increase its presence and client base, both locally and in the wider West Midlands area.
This is a brand new role created by the firm in order to identify new business opportunities to support business growth. The role will include, but will not be limited to, generating leads by hosting meetings, day to day responsibility for ensuring the co-ordination of all marketing and business development projects, producing marketing material, attending key networking events along with supporting the communication and relationships between departments to increase cross selling and preparing and presenting innovative marketing and BD ideas to stakeholders.
This is an exciting, varied and challenging role, and as such our client is looking for a Marketing and Business Development Manager with at least four years’ experience in a professional services environment. Experience of working in the legal sphere would be advantageous. You must be highly proficient in IT and be qualified to degree level, along with previous experience of using social media to improve branding.
