You'll be a Solicitor (ideally with Higher Rights of Audience) or Barrister with a strong background in Advocacy. You'll have experience in Personal Injury (RTA & EL/PL), Fraud and ideally Professional Negligence. You will undertake advocacy, drafting and advisory work including, but not limited to, pleadings, Stage 3 hearings, interlocutory hearings, small claims, fast track trials, sanctions and recoveries etc. You'll be able to assist more senior members of the Advocacy team as and when necessary and help and support the junior team members and fee earners across the department.
You'll be a confident Advocate with a sound background in litigation and have previously dealt with your own caseload. You'll be able to work with little to no supervision and pride yourself on delivering the best service to your insurer clients, UK wide.
