A rare opportunity has arisen for an experienced Conveyancing Legal Assistant with strong conveyancing experience to join a well-respected law firm which has an excellent staff retention based in the Centre of Oldham. You will be working within the residential conveyancing department and must be a reliable, diligent team player with good attention to detail who has demonstrated experience in dealing with all aspects of the residential conveyancing process at legal assistant/legal secretary/paralegal level.
The firm is offering a competitive salary banding plus benefits.
You will be supporting a Solicitor on a one-to-one basis who has a broad caseload dealing with sales, purchases and remortgages of all types of residential property.
Duties will include:
- Preparing draft Contracts and supporting title documentation for both registered and unregistered land
- Drafting Transfers of whole
- Conducting Searches
- Using the Land Registry and Lenders’ Portals
- Typing using digital dictation
You must be confident in answering telephone calls promptly, dealing with client queries and providing updates by phone and on the case management system, being well organised and having good diary management is vital.
