BRAND NEW ROLE! The exciting opportunity has arisen for an HR Officer to join an established law firm in Colchester, on a 12-month fixed term contract.
This long-established and highly ranked law firm is keen to recruit a dynamic HR Officer into its practice which offers a full range of quality legal services. This role is a 12-month fixed term contract, as part of a maternity cover.
Duties in this role will be varied, and include:
- Recruitment – dealing with recruitment agents, attending interviews, etc
- Employment contracts, policies and references
- Staff induction, induction timetables, co-ordinating induction training and provision of training on business plan, culture, time recording and systems
- Set up for new recruits
- Managing leave, holidays, absence and cover
- Drafting, reviewing and managing the company's HR contracts and policies
- Overseeing annual appraisals
You will be expected to have gained experience in a similar role within a law firm.
