I am working with a large financial services organisation with multiple offices who is looking to bring on board an Assistant Company Secretary. Your role will include: Meeting support: - To act as secretary of certain Group committees - To assist with all board and committee meeting preparations; minute meetings; and provide interim support to other boards and committees as may be required - To provide technical input as required to ensure that boards and committees are striving for best practice - To assist with ensuring the effective execution of company general meetings and LLP members’ meetings Other: - To assist with ensuring the Group is fully compliant with all regulatory, legislative and governance requirements - To assist with any corporate actions that may be required - To monitor the effectiveness of delegated authorities and authorised signatories - To provide cover for the company secretarial assistants in relation to the Blueprint records management database - To deal professionally and effectively with internal and external contacts including main board members and other senior individuals - To assist as necessary with ad hoc projects Experience and Skills: - Knowledge of relevant legal and regulatory requirements, particularly the Companies Act 2006, and relevant corporate governance standards (Essential) - This would be suited to an ACIS/ACG qualified Chartered Secretary Please get in touch asap to avoid missing out!
