An exciting opportunity has become available for an NQ Employment Solicitor to join a busy Employment team at a leading L500 firm, based in central Leeds.
As an NQ Employment Solicitor, your workload will include: advising upon and negotiating settlement agreements, including drafting settlement agreements; conducting litigation (on behalf of employers and employees) in the employment tribunal, including conducting advocacy if required; assisting senior members of the team with both contentious and non-contentious matters; providing corporate support for commercial transactions; and advising on general employment issues such as disciplinary, grievance and redundancy issues.
The Employment team advises on a wide range of employment matters, including assisting with day to day HR law advice to clients (predominantly in the professional services, manufacturing, hospitality and tech sectors); advising employers and employees on dismissals, disciplinary processes, grievances and other employee relations issues; employment tribunal litigation; advising on TUPE matters; drafting and advising on employee contracts, handbooks, consultancy agreements and other employee related documentation.
