A leading national firm is seeking an experienced child care solicitor (likely 2-5 years' PQE) to join their growing team in South Manchester.
You will be joining an established regional childcare/family team where you will handle a varied caseload of child care matters, including undertaking your own advocacy. As an experienced child care solicitor, you will have an excellent knowledge of legal aid funding and LAA procedures.
You must be a qualified child care solicitor (likely 2+ years' PQE) with a proven track record in a similar role. Ideally, you will be a Children's Panel Member and have developed relationships with CAFCASS and other child care agencies, however, this is not essential.
You will have the ability to work on your own as well as part of a team, and you will need to demonstrate excellent negotiation, communication and advocacy skills. A good knowledge of child care and family law is required, as is a professional yet compassionate approach to your work.
Salary is negotiable depending on experience likely £35,000 to £40,000 together with a comprehensive benefits package and agile/flexible working. This firm offers good opportunities for progression and boasts a friendly and flexible culture.
