Our client is a Legal 500 firm based in Reading, Berkshire which is seeking qualified solicitors 2-4 years' PQE to join its expanding Employment Team.
They are offering work which will involve dealing with a mixed caseload of contentious and non-contentious issues, acting for some claimant but mostly respondent clients.
The role will involve giving day to day advice on disciplinary and grievances, managing sickness absence, TUPE transfers and conducting redundancy programmes and restrictions.
An interest in marketing and business development is key and experience in handling business visas for clients would be an advantage.
The ideal candidate will have recently qualified or have up to 2-4 years’ experience ideally from a recognised London or regional practice, good contract employment law skills and knowledge and a strong academic record (2.1 degree is a minimum requirement).
