My client is a well reputed regional firm known for both sides of family law as it deals with both privately and publicly funded work.
This childcare solicitor vacancy has arisen as a result of an increase in the volume of work coming into the firm.
The successful childcare solicitor must have at least 3 years' PQE in children law and present a professional image at all times to clients and collaborators. You will be well presented, confident and have first class communication skills. You will be hard working, highly organised and able to work to tight deadlines.
The position is based in Lincoln although some flexibility may be required to work in our other office locations.
Activities will be varied and will include, but will not be limited to, the following:
- Advising and representing clients in area of Children Law - this can be in private and/or public law
- Conducting advocacy in and out of court
- Managing members of the Children's Law Department, to include file reviews, 1-2-1s and appraisals, across various offices
- Managing files
- Assisting other members of the Children's Law Department when required
- Networking: creating and maintaining professional relationships.
There could be some uplift in the salary advertised if you are a Member of the Children's Panel or a Member of Resolution. Ideally, you will have knowledge of Proclaim Case Management System. You will have a full clean driving licence with knowledge of legal aid regulations and procedures.
