You will have trained and gained experience at a comparable Legal 500 firm and be motivated by employment law. You will be joining a team with a lot of depth already and working with commercially minded work colleagues.
You should be happy to embrace business development and marketing as that has contributed to the success of the department, however, there is already a superb database of clients who are based right across the UK. The work here will be a mixture of respondent and high-value claimant cases.
Typically, you will be advising employers and employees on a range of contentious and non-contentious matters including unfair dismissal claims, discrimination claims, TUPE transfers, business restructuring/ redundancies, settlement agreements, company policies and procedures, dismissal and contractual issues.
You will be happy to take an active role in the development of the company to maximise cross-referrals. You will also have strong planning and organisational skills.
