About the company/role
Exciting and rare opportunity for a senior Employment Lawyer looking to move in-house to a major organisation with a large diverse workforce. Working in a collegiate and engaged in-house legal team, you will handle a wide range of work including advice on the full range of Employment Law matters, drafting employment contracts and related contracts, handling disputes and claims such as Fair Work Act and anti-discrimination (including appearing in court and/or hearings) and other related matters. The position will initially be appointed on a 12 month contract but with potential for extension or permanence.
Skills and experience
The successful candidate will have at least 7 years pae in Employment Law (including advisory and contentious) gained at a major law firm or as a combination of private practice and in-house/secondment experience. You will be a natural communicator with first class technical legal skills and a strong team ethic. You will also be commercially focused which will help you add value to the business.
