This South West Legal 500 firm is looking for an additional commercial solicitor to join their successful team in Exeter.
You will be joining a busy department in a busy firm committed to growing and developing their offering within this non-contentious commercial services team.
You will be advising both large and small companies from start-ups to major international firms on a variety of commercial contracts matters, including:
- Outsourcing arrangements
- Operation and maintenance contracts
- Supply of goods and services contracts
- Energy regulatory work
- IT maintenance and support contracts and cloud solutions
- You may also advise on data protection and privacy matters including international data transfers, GDPR compliance and e-communications.
As a junior commercial lawyer, you will have genuine client contact from day one. The partners here do not hoard client relationships for themselves, but on the contrary, will actively encourage you to build relationships with both existing and new clients.
Crucially you will be an excellent communicator with commercial contracts experience from another law firm. Ideally, you should have up to 4 years' relevant commercial experience.
This commercial vacancy may suit a relocator, looking to retain quality, high-value caseload outside of London. Unlike many London firms, there is no culture of presenteeism here.
Unusually this practice is not to- heavy with partners, making your progression and career development easier and quicker.
