An outstanding opportunity has become available with a prestigious Legal 500 firm, a leading firm in the City, following a recent expansion, resulting in the opening of the Leeds office, located in the legal hub of central Leeds. Following years of growth and success, the firm employs over 200 employees.
They now require a securitisation conveyancing paralegal and are offering an exciting opportunity for a conveyancing paralegal to work as part of a market-leading practice but without the need to relocate to the capital.
You will be assisting solicitors in all aspects of securitisation for the charging of residential street properties and developments as security for loans and bonds and the provision of asset and liability registers for social housing providers.
They are looking for a candidate with previous conveyancing experience. It is an excellent opportunity to join Tier 1 ranked team who are at the forefront of the affordable housing sector, acting on transactions ranging from £1m-£500m.
Specific tasks could include:
- Identifying Titles, Official Copy Entries and Office Copy Documents from the Land Registry
- Title checks
- Obtaining items from Local Authorities
- Chasing items
- Pre-completion Land Registry searches and dealing with post-completion matters
You will have a 2:1 degree equivalent in law or appropriate conversation and have successful completion of the LPC or studying the LPC part-time. You may also be studying ILEX.
