A leading firm requires a private client legal secretary to join their successful Wills, Trusts & Estates department in Reading.
Our client is a Legal 200 firm with 6 offices nationwide and was ranked Tier 1 for Private Client in 2015. You will work directly for a solicitor in Wills, Trusts & Estates as well as providing support for other fee earners in the wider team.
The ideal candidate will have fast and accurate typing skills, including audio, and be comfortable using online case management systems. Strong administration and organisation skills are required, as is diary management.
You will be responsible for general administrative duties and ensuring that files are kept up to date. We are looking for someone hardworking who can show initiative with experience of working in a team environment. You will also be given the opportunity to take part in networking events and contribute towards the department's social media platforms including Twitter, LinkedIn and Facebook.
In return, we will provide you with training and support so that you can develop your skills and knowledge, and we will work with you so that you can develop your career with us. This role is on a full-time, permanent basis with a £19,000 - £21,000 per annum salary.
The ideal candidate will need to have at least 6 – 12 months prior experience of working as a legal secretary.
Specific Private Client Wills, Trusts & Estates experience would be an advantage but is not essential.
