My client is a high profile Nottingham based firm in the Top 100 UK nationwide.
The firm requires an experienced inquests advocate handling defendant side matters on behalf of healthcare clients including NHS bodies, local authorities, independent health and social care providers and other public sector bodies.
As the inquests solicitor, you will attend inquests when the circumstances around the death of individuals are unclear.
You could be defending organisations with regard to negligence claims.
Previous inquests experience is essential here as you would be leading on cases as well as assisting.
Many of the cases are high profile and have made national and regional news headlines.
Applications will be considered from solicitors with either defendant or claimant side experience, however, the firm is a defendant side firm.
You will manage your own caseload of healthcare inquest work and you will have excellent technical skills and a strong academic background.
You will possess excellent interpersonal and organisational skills and advocacy skills – including inquests and Court of Protection hearings.
Business development, attending seminars and events form part of this inquests solicitor role.
Nottingham is a fantastic place to live and work. Applications from relocators will be considered, however, you should be able to demonstrate a commitment to live and work in the area.
Salary package is to negotiation based upon experience. As well as a highly competitive salary, you can expect a range of perks and benefits second to none associated with the role.
