An exciting opportunity has become available with a leading Legal 500 firm.
Due to expansion, there is a position for an experienced industrial disease solicitor with experience acting and advising on a defendant basis in relation to a broad range of disease matters, including noise-induced hearing loss, HAVS and asbestos-related disease.
There will also be opportunities to proactively support with the marketing and business development activity of the team in order to maximise the firm's existing offering to clients and continue to grow its client base. Candidates with experience in business development activity within a similar environment will, therefore, be at an advantage.
Alongside the requisite technical expertise, the ideal candidate will have a good track record of developing strong client relationships and a true sense of working in partnership, with excellent client management skills being paramount.
Based in the York office, and reporting to the Head of Occupational Disease, the disease solicitors play a pivotal role in delivering a service based on a real understanding of their client’s requirements.
The successful candidate for this industrial disease solicitor role will work in partnership with these leading firm's clients in order to deliver outstanding client care.
Strong communication skills, a consistent focus on quality, along with the ability to work well within an established team will be essential to succeed in this role.
Candidates of all PQE levels will be considered and whilst defendant experience is preferred, strong claimant candidates will be considered.
