This is an opportunity for an ambitious family law solicitor or legal executive to work for a high street firm servicing the local community based across north Nottinghamshire.
The incoming fee earner would be working in a close-knit team based in Retford and have access to partner level support.
You will mainly be handling privately funded family law matters, including divorce, matrimonial and finances, therefore, you should be personable in your approach as you will be client-facing.
There's a full range of family law matters that take place within the department, so you will be working alongside panel members, members of Resolution, as well as mediators and collaborative lawyers.
You will be a confident and self-sufficient fee earner able to handle work related to:
- Divorce work;
- Finances within divorce;
- Cohabitation matters;
- Domestic violence;
- Private children law;
- Legal Aid applications.
The firm is not looking to appoint a care lawyer at the moment.
You should have access to transport and be happy to service clients across a couple of branch locations, roughly 10 miles apart.
There will be a chance to perform business development, increasing your own profile and allowing you to progress as best as you can.
Applications from relocators will be considered, however, you should be able to demonstrate a commitment to live and work in the Nottinghamshire area.
Exact salary package will be to negotiation depending upon your own circumstances and level of experience.
