A well regarded, Legal 500 ranked national law firm in Manchester is seeking an employment solicitor (claimant) at senior associate level.
You will be joining an award-winning Employment Team which comprises of some very well respected and well-known employment lawyers in the market.
You will maintain and oversee the file management of a complex, varied caseload of predominantly employment law cases and also some defamation cases working on behalf of trade union and police federation clients. Therefore, current/previous experience in working with these types of clients or a passion for this area is essential.
As an employment solicitor/senior associate, you will also play an active part in networking and marketing initiatives with the other employment solicitors.
You will likely be an experienced claimant employment solicitor (5+ years' PQE), although respondent employment solicitors are also encouraged to apply.
You will be well versed in dealing with trade unions and industrial law, as well as public law and human rights-related employment issues. Also, you will be joining at a senior associate level, supervisory experience with more junior employment solicitors and fee earners would be a distinct advantage.
