In this role you will be tasked, together with the Risk and Compliance Manager to maintain the firm's obligations as per the SRA rules of conduct. This is a varied and busy position with an emphasis on advising the firm on anti-money laundering and regulatory issues along with managing the risk registers across the various departments and to ensure quality procedures are upheld. There will also be an expectation to lead various initiatives.
To be considered for this Risk and Compliance Officer role you will need to have significant experience in a law firm with a solid understanding of the SRA rules of conduct, Money Laundering and various other regulations. It is essential that you have an in depth knowledge of risk management tools and are aware of the current risk scene. You will need to be academically strong, with impeccable communication skills and an ability to influence.
