My client is a high profile, Chambers rated firm with multiple offices across the East Midlands.
Being a self-sufficient planning law solicitor with upwards of 3 years' PQE, you will have a strong technical skillset gained from working across all areas of planning law.
In this role, you will work on major projects on behalf of private and commercial clients, on a range of issues covering areas such as:
- Planning, highway and infrastructure agreements, including complex Section 106 agreements
- Development work
- Neighbourhood planning and housing schemes
- Planning appeals, judicial reviews and giving advice on enforcement
- Giving advice on Compulsory Purchase Orders
- Contentious and non-contentious planning work
- Planning due-diligence on acquisitions and sales and much more
- Infrastructure agreements
- Due diligence with corporate and real estate transactions.
You should have outstanding academics and either previous planning law experience or have an understanding of the planning law process.
You will be able to conduct presentations and will be available for networking outside of usual work hours.
Ideal candidates will be technically strong with an eye for detail, along with being a good communicator and possessing excellent client care and business development skills. You will be naturally self-motivated, enthusiastic and have a positive attitude towards challenges and change.
