The role is a rare opportunity to advise a range of defendant clients including blue chip PLCs, insurers and intermediaries on complex multi-track EL/PL and RTA personal injury claims. The caseload will largely feature claims with settlement value in excess of £100k, so previous experience in dealing with large loss/catastrophic injury claims will be highly desirable.
The ideal candidate will be a qualified (solicitor or legal executive) personal injury specialist with a minimum of around 4 to 5 years' PQE in defendant personal injury work. You will split your time between working with the Head of Department and senior fee earners on large and complex catastrophic injury files, running your own caseload of defendant matters and supervising and managing junior fee earners within the team.
