This role will see you predominantly based out of the Newcastle office, although travel to other locations can be expected from time to time.
This firm is certainly the local market leaders, with a high net worth client base and transactions reaching over a billion pounds in value. This department has an extremely low turnover of staff and I doubt another opportunity like this will become available in the near future.
This role will see you working in a niche area of corporate law within a Corporate Rail Team. Your clients will be nationally and internationally recognised rail service providers, with transactions ranging into the multi-million-pound category. In the main, you will be supporting franchise bids and rolling stock purchases.
The ideal candidate to join this 3 partner team will be a qualified solicitor with 1-4 years' PQE. Applications are being considered from those with more experience, perhaps joining at managing associate level.
You will need to have a significant drive and a willingness and enthusiasm to learn. Previous rail experience is not essential but it is preferred that you have some form of corporate, commercial or banking background.

Long hours can be expected when transactions are being completed but, in return, you can anticipate an excellent bonus structure. Your starting salary will also be highly competitive.
