An exciting vacancy has arisen for an experienced conveyancing legal assistant to join a Chester-based law firm within their expanding residential conveyancing department.
You will be required to assist a fee earner with the whole process of the residential conveyancing files.
Previous Conveyancing experience at Assistant / Paralegal / Secretarial level is required.
The Chester-based law firm has a great reputation within the local area and has good staff retention. You will need to be able to work on your own initiative or as part of a team and produce work quickly and accurately often within tight timescales. You will, therefore, have the ability to remain calm when working under pressure and strong IT skills, particularly when using Excel, Word and Outlook.
You will be required to process the sales and purchase files under the supervision of a conveyancing fee earner, deal with general secretarial/assistant support including typing of general correspondence, dealing with SDLT forms and land registry searches.
