Property Litigation Solicitor.
Our client is a Chambers listed established, successful and progressive 20 partner Law firm.
The Reading office is seeking a recently qualified NQ up to 4 years' PQE property litigation solicitor to join the current team of 4 others which is partner led.
The department advises both commercial landlords and tenants on issues such as rent and service charge arrears, but also on more complex questions that concern the interpretation of terms in a commercial lease.
Disputes between commercial landlords and tenants can be very complex and challenging to reach a settlement.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced property litigation solicitor with experience in dealing with an array of matters including:
- Granting of a lease;
- Buying an existing lease as landlord or tenant;
- Ongoing liability of a tenant after selling their lease;
- Renewal of a lease;
- Responsibility of a tenant for dilapidations at the end of a lease;
- Exercising break clauses correctly;
- The relationship between co-tenants;
- TOLATA claims.
The firm is well established and highly regarded due to the high levels of service, expertise and quality they provide to its property clients.
You will be required to have excellent IT and organisational skills.
