Conveyancing Legal Assistant
This Legal 500 law firm, based in York, is looking to add a conveyancing assistant to their Residential Property Department.
You will be joining a busy department assisting the firms fee earners and solicitors with all aspects of conveyancing.
To be successful in securing this role you will have a strong admin background (ideally residential conveyancing exposure), excellent typing skills, show good attention to detail and demonstrate excellent client service.
- opening and closing files
- carrying out initial searches
- preparation of contract packs
- processing client questionnaires
- exchanging contracts
- ID checks
- post completion duties
- diary management for the fee earners
This is a full time position at 35 hour per week however, hours can be negotiable if you are looking for a part time opportunity.
