Professional Indemnity Solicitor.
If you are looking for a change in career paths, perhaps in a brand new sector altogether, then what better place to do this than in a highly-regarded international law firm based in Newcastle City Centre. This is your opportunity to retrain into a niche sector, with full training and support provided from two outstanding Partners within the field.
As a professional indemnity solicitor, you will handle your own caseload of high-value and complex files with the support from the wider team. This is a Newcastle based position, but your clients include mainly London-based insurers, and the value of transactions can be worth up to several million pounds.
Your work will be both contentious and non-contentious. In your day to day role as the Professional Indemnity Solicitor, you can be expected to advise upon major policy disputes, transnational liability, draft policy wordings, business interruptions, and insurance market agreements.
As this is a niche area of law, it is not essential that you have prior experience within professional indemnity. Training and support will be provided with every step of the way. Of course, if you have experience in professional indemnity that is highly desirable. You will need to be a qualified solicitor who is not afraid of starting from scratch in a new area. Excellent communication and IT skills are essential.
This Professional Indemnity Solicitor role has a highly competitive salary and bonus structure attached. This firm has worked hard to become one of the market leaders when it comes to work/life balance, with flexible working and possibility to work from home some days considered.
