A leading commercial focused practise in Luton is looking to hire a senior respondent focused employment solicitor to replace the retiring Head of Department/Partner.
The role offers a senior lawyer the chance to join a commercially focused firm as a leading figure in the commercial services department.
This long term client with whom we have placed numerous senior members of staff is looking to recruit a highly successful qualified employment solicitor to join their fast expanding team.
You will ideally be experienced in a broad range of respondent matters, from general employment advice to large SME’s, PLC’s as well as some national clients. Aside from this, there is also an interest in candidates with director level employee work.
You will be dealing with matters such as settlement agreements, redundancy scenarios, employment contract drafting, and also some HR and benefits matters for larger commercial clients. You will be expected to promote the firm to existing and new clients, and will generally be required to assist in the general marketing of your firm. You will ideally have exposure to leading AIM Listed, FTSE 350 and PLC client base and well as a wealth of exposure to SME and owner managed businesses.
The role presents a great opportunity if you are a successful employment solicitor with ideally at least 6+ years' PQE and a desire to be actively involved in the further development of this successful department.
