Work is plentiful in this office and a safe pair of hands is needed here to pick up matters coming into the firm and convert.
The team is relatively small. One conveyancer, a Paralegal and part-time admin support. There is no partner based there, however they do travel to the office on a weekly basis. You should be self-sufficient and self-motivating, and able to be the "go to" person for the local community.
Applications are invited from candidates at all levels including licensed conveyancers, legal executives or solicitors and non-qualified with proven experience of working in a busy conveyancing department who have signed off work previously.
The successful candidate will be expected to handle a wide and varied caseload of residential conveyancing matters including sales and purchases, re-mortgages, dealing with both freehold and leasehold (including shared ownership properties), new builds, repossessions, deeds of gifts, assents, equity releases, drafting declaration of trusts and other general property related matters.
You will be able to manage a caseload effectively and able to deliver an exceptional level of service to you clients.
You will also need to nurture relationships with clients, their estate agents and introducers of business.
The office is situated in a scenic location.
