Planning Law Solicitor.
High profile firm with a national presence are now looking to appoint a Planning Law solicitor to join their award winning team.
You will be at 0-2 years PQE.
The Planning team are part of a national Real Estate department and they work on some of the highest profile infrastructure and regeneration projects in the country. The team also work on behalf of national home builder clients and various local authorities.
You will have trained and gained experience in a team noted for their Planning Law offering - and you will have gained exposure to some or all of the following matters: infrastructure projects, urban regeneration projects, planning appeals, negotiation of planning and highways agreements, real estate acquisitions and disposals, planning enforcement and much much more.
This vacancy offers an excellent opportunity to get involved within a specialised and exciting area of practice.
The role is Nottingham based but from time to time you would be expected to travel around the country assisting other key members of the team nationally. That way, you hone your key skills by working closely alongside some of the most skilled and technically gifted partners and associates in the country.
You can expect a supportive and structured approach will be given to supervision, knowledge management and personal development.
You will take on a client facing role from the outset, both in assisting others on large complex cases and in running your own caseload.
You will possess strong academic ability and excellent communication skills. You will be able to problem solve and work under pressure. You will have superb organisational skills and pay high attention to detail. You will provide a first rate client service both internally and externally.
You should be a team player, client focused and a good communicator with a strong practical approach to your workload. A commitment to deliver quality service is essential, as is the ability to juggle the demands of a heavy workload.
