Our client is an award-winning, global commercial law firm which is currently seeking to bolster their reputable employment practice with the hire of an experienced employment solicitor. They have strong roots in the North West and are based in new and innovative offices in the heart of the legal district in Manchester city centre.
This is your opportunity to join one of the leading employment practices in the North West which boasts a long list of household name employer clients. You will be working alongside some of the regions leading employment solicitors as part of a structured and supportive team.
Your role will involve working on all aspects of employment law including both contentious and non-contentious matters. As well dealing with advisory work and Employment Tribunal litigation matters, you will have the opportunity to work closely with the corporate team and deal with the employment aspects of transactional work, including employment law due diligence on share/asset sales, amending employment provisions within SPAs/BPAs, TUPE consultation and post-transaction redundancy/restructures.
To be considered for this Manchester-based employment solicitor role you will need to have worked at a national or recognised regional firm with a strong academic profile (ideally 2:1 or equivalent). Ideally you will have experience in dealing with tribunal matters and transactional employment law support is preferable. The firm will offer excellent ongoing training and progression as well as a competitive salary and benefits package.
