Junior Family Solicitor - Chambers recommended firm.
A well-known and highly respected family law specialist is looking to recruit a Junior Family Solicitor in to their growing Middlesex office.
The firm are leaders in their field and have a team of 15+ qualified lawyers plus support staff in the family team alone. They cover matters of all kinds, including - divorce, financial disputes, private children, child abduction, mediation and in particular, child care law.
This is a brand new opportunity that has been created within the team and has come about due to an increase in work. You will be handling a mixed caseload of private and public family matters under supervision, with a particular focus on the latter. You will need to be passionate about your work and willing to take responsibility for your own caseload if you're not doing so already. You will be given the ongoing support to do this by senior staff. Being able to manage client expectations and the ability to conduct your own advocacy will also be key for this role.
It is worth noting, this is a rare opportunity to join the firm as they put a heavy emphasis on progressing their existing staff.
To be considered for this Junior Family Solicitor you will possess the following attributes:
- Qualified solicitor, NQ-2 years' PQE, though other more experienced candidates may also be considered
- Used to working on wide variety of family law matters - child care, divorce, finances and more
- Strong communicator able to both manage client expectations and offer a supportive service to more vulnerable clients
- Keen to develop further business and contribute to the further growth of the team.
Panel membership or a relevant accreditation would be advantageous but is not a pre-requisite to be considered for this opportunity.
