Our client is a global law firm with an enviable employment practice. There is now a rare opportunity for an employment solicitor at 2 - 8 years' PQE to join the team in Manchester working on complex and large scale employment work.
This employment law role will give an employment solicitor with at least two years' post qualification experience, the opportunity to work with leading employment experts in the UK in a team with a huge amount of expertise and resources. You will work across both contentious and non-contentious work, primarily in the education sector.
You will be an employment solicitor who has gained some Tribunal experience in your practice to date and ideally exposure to clients in the education sector. The firm is very focused on supporting junior lawyers and indeed has developed internal processes to ensure structured training and development. You will also be positively encouraged to take on your own matters and engaging with clients from the outset to build your own relationships at a junior solicitor level. At the more senior level you will have the opportunity to mentor junior members of the team and build your career path around your career aspirations. There really isn't a glass ceiling and the firm will support your progression allowing you to shine.
