This Top 500 law firm based in York are looking for a finance assisting to joins its expanding team.
Working closely with the Finance Supervisor you will be responsible for tasks such as banking, taking credit card payments, billing and transfers, making sure all transactions are processed with speed and accuracy in accordance with the Solicitor Accounts Rules.
Some of your duties will include (but not limited to):
- maintain and accurate filling system
- perform monthly checks on 6 month old cheques
- chase bills and reconcile on a weekly basis
- take payments for the company, run daily reports and reconcile
- complete cheque log & TT log
- deal with finance enquirers from the firms fee earners
You will also be required to undertake any other administrative or finance suites, attend training session that the finance manager request and take part in the Company's Performance Management policy.
You will have 2-3 years experience within a similar role, strong knowledge of Solicitor Accounts Rules, be able to use your own initiative and display high levels of accuracy in your work.
