We have a mainly respondent side Employment Law opportunity on offer here for a commercially aware solicitor or associate with upwards of 3 years PQE to progress in the next stage of their career.
Background wise it is not overly critical where you have trained and what level of degree you have but what is important is the fact you have had good exposure with business clients and have catered for their needs successfully previously.
The firm has an excellent reputation and a range of clients across various sectors who require servicing.
Typical cases would involve managing claims through the Employment Law tribunal process and providing Employment support in corporate / commercial business transactions. You should have experience of discrimination, restructures, TUPE, grievance matters and all the main aspects of respondent side work.
Employment Law solicitors with a background in claimant side work who wish to transfer over also will be considered.
You'll be joining a collegiate team of experienced work colleagues.
New clients are coming on board all the time so ideally you will be a networker, open to business development mainly through servicing clients and asking for referrals and gaining new business through word of mouth.
